Check the Dimensions of your Items at Logistics via Maxfulfilment
It is essential to regularly check whether the items you sell via Logistics via Maxfulfilment are classified in the correct tariff group. This prevents unnecessary costs and ensures smooth processing of your shipments.
Tariff Group Control
- You can find the assigned tariff group of an item on your invoice in the overview of all costs.
- If you see an item that is in the wrong price group, please contact our customer service to correct this.
Remeasurement of Articles
From October 15, 2024, Maxfulfilment will use a uniform measurement method per article (EAN). The dimensions are no longer determined per partner, but on the basis of the unique EAN. This ensures consistency in the tariff group for all partners who sell the same article.
How does a remeasurement work?
If you think an item has been placed in the wrong tariff group, you can submit a remeasurement request. Here are the steps:
- Submit a request: Submit a request via our customer service for a remeasurement of a specific EAN.
- Remeasure: We will remeasure the item in our fulfillment center and share the results with you.
- Take action: If the outcome does not match your expectations, you can choose to adjust the packaging and request a new EAN according to GS1 standards.
Customizing Articles
New packaging, new EAN
If you give an item new packaging with different dimensions, you must:
- Request a new EAN for the modified article.
- Stop selling the old item and ensure it is no longer offered through Maxfulfilment.
Important to know:
The reviews of your old article cannot be transferred to the new article. This is because they are two different EANs. Therefore, ensure clear communication to your customers about the renewed product.
